Random video chat, in one click
Random video chat pairs you with a stranger on camera — one-on-one, live, no profiles. OmegleTV does it straight from your browser, for free, on any phone or computer.
Start a free video chatHow random video chat works
When you press Start, you join a short queue of people who are also looking for someone to talk to. As soon as two people are free, they're matched at random and placed in a private one-on-one video call. Nobody else can join that call, and when either of you presses Next the call ends and you both go back to looking for someone new.
There are no profiles, swiping or followers. You don't know who you'll get, and that's the point: every chat is a little surprise.
What you need
- A phone, tablet or computer with a camera and microphone.
- An up-to-date browser — Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox all work.
- A reasonably stable internet connection. Wi-Fi or 4G/5G is fine.
Tips for better video quality
- Face a light source. A window or lamp in front of you makes a huge difference. Avoid having a bright window behind you.
- Use headphones if you can. They stop echo and make your voice clearer for the other person.
- Hold your phone steady. Lean it against something at eye level instead of holding it.
- Close other video apps. Only one app can use your camera at a time.
Your privacy
OmegleTV doesn't record calls. Video and audio travel live between you and the other person through our video provider and are encrypted in transit, as all browser video calls are. You can mute your microphone or turn your camera off at any moment with the buttons at the bottom of the screen, and the camera switches off completely as soon as you press Stop.
Questions people ask
Why can't the site access my camera?
Your browser blocked camera access. Tap the camera or lock icon in the address bar, allow camera and microphone for omegletv.lol, then reload the page. On iPhone, also check Settings › Safari › Camera.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Random video chat on OmegleTV runs entirely in your web browser using standard browser technology (WebRTC).
How long does it take to find someone?
Usually just a few seconds. If nobody is available after about ten seconds, an AI coach picks up while you wait.
